This will be the 10th time in 47 seasons the Jays are in the playoffs.

Someone in here even said the team shouldn’t be celebrating that they made the playoffs.

Wild.

Go jays !

Despite the hit and walk, this Parsons guy looks pretty good so far. His pitches have movement.

I don’t see it as a negative at all. Just a different point of view. Not everyone has to be an absolute cheerleader of the team we love. Sometimes it’s alright to assess the situation as a whole. All good.

He probably would benefit from major league coaching.

He would benefit if the Jay's batters took some pitches to give him a breather!

If Houston and Tampa win it doesn’t matter who wins in the Texas game. Jays would then face Minny.

Poor Parsons. This could be his one and only big league start and he's just going to get thrown to the wolves. At least that game cheque is going to be dope.

None of these hits have been particularly well struck. The first two were bloops and the next 2 were seeing eye grounders. Parsons isn't pitching badly but hopefully the rotten luck doesn't rattle him.

This is going south quick. Im sure the last thing they wanted was to go to the bullpen early. Could get ugly.

What are the rules with using position players as pitchers? I’d like to see slow pitches given to just mess with Tampas timing for their next game.

Houston is battling Texas for the first round bye, so both teams should be going all out

I think Texas is the team to beat this postseason. Tampa would be up there as well. Baltimore losing the closer could be hurting them a bit.

I wonder if the Jays end up playing the Twins they would get a better TV spot. Especially with Minnesota being in the Central time Zone. I'd much rather watch afternoon baseball then the morning draw they'd likely have with the Rays.

Yeah, I think it would be slightly better.

Probably end up with a couple 1:00pm or 2:00pm starts, and maybe a 4:00pm
