I care because some people will take their lead from two of those in power and who set public health policy and are supposed to know how best to protect themselves. I think it’s stupid to think that your superior immune system will protect you from COVID but sr Albertans will think if these two aren’t getting vaccinated, my immune system is strong too so I’m good to go. I think everyone who gets close to them in meetings should care. Everyone who wants COVID minimized should care.
The premier said she has a strong immune system so she’ll be fine and the health minister parroted her words. These are the people (read: COVID deniers) in charge of public health policy.

Their purpose is to keep the virus at bay and minimize the effects, while simultaneously easing the burden on emergency health care infrastructure. Has Smith spoken out about flu booster shots? The principle should be the same - nobody is forcing you to get them, but it’s a really good idea if you do.
Or has the anti-vaxx movement cast flu shots as part of some sinister agenda as well?
