I kind of like them. They’re going for a hand drawn look on the logo which I think is only half successful. They maybe could have changed the whole shape/look of the Flaming C to get something more distinctive instead of just playing with the flame part of the logo.

To be honest, why not wear faithful replicas of the originals? Sure, use modern fabrics, and fits for today's player equipment. There's a fine line between paying homage and desecrating history.

This is how the Flames are. Same as last season when many opened their Reverse Retro jerseys on Christmas morning...weeks after the team had worn them for the last time.

My guess is the Flames wear this jersey at the Dome at least once or twice as well after the outdoor game.
And the lead time is becuase of one off jerseys created mostly by the league and not the Flames, and a significantly different process as mentioned previously.
I am sure some Chinese sites can pump out some cheaply created ones in time, along with the wrong color of red, just like the HC jerseys from McMahon, that still stick out terribly.
