Maybe they have Andersson or Weegar rotate with Lindholm

I agree with Tanev, Rasmus, Hubie and Weegar, but Big Z would be a good choice too. As long as Tanev and Rasmus get As though I’ll be happy with whoever else they choose.
Edit…I forgot Lindy, if he signs he’s a good choice too.

Andersson and Tanev seem like the obvious choices. After that, I don't know. Kadri seems like a guy who is vocal, does a lot of community work, has a Stanley Cup, and works hard usually.

In the video that the Flames released during media day, Tanev, Lindholm and Huberdeau all had As. None of Weegar, Backlund or Andersson had letters. I'm guessing the last A goes to Andersson. I don't see any chance they release that video and then remove a letter from any of Tanev, Lindholm or Huberdeau.

I think there needs to be a permanent A who will become the next captain when Backlund leaves - that will be Huberdeau.
And have Tanev and Lindholm be the 2nd A split between home and away.
