What's the deal with Kylington? I thought he would just miss a day.
The way that presser was worded kind of makes me think he isn't coming back. I imagine they toll/terminate his contract if he is out for the year again.

If that ends up happening, wow. Had no idea, thought he was in the clear.

Yeah, the presser was vague but “Following yesterday’s medical and fitness testing, it was determined that Oliver is unable to participate in the opening of training camp today,” the team said in a statement. “As this is a private personal matter, no further information will be provided.” does not give great vibes

Hard to say with mental health. He could be back in a month but it could easily reoccur through the season. Feel bad for him. Nobody signs up for mental health problems.
Interesting to see how the Flames’ shooters are going wide then cutting in across the top of the circle, and then coming down the middle. Making the goalie adjust from a wide angle to middle, while leaving plenty of time and space to see what they have to work with.
That adjustment may leave the goalie a touch less than perfectly positioned, giving a slight advantage to the shooter
Edit: wonder if Marc Savard is suggesting this as an option
Almost looked like they started going backwards. Surprised that is never called.
Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere, but any word on goal songs for new players? I am positive somebody has thought of a good one for Coronato already. Maybe what sounds like a coronation song? That would make me laugh every time a rookie scored.. or basically anyone. WWE's usage of the "Great Gate of Kiev" for Jerry the King Lawler or Harley Race way back in the day spring to mind.
