Exactly- Im learning towards the likelihood that I am on the recall, but very unlikely to qualify for replacing.
And I get the occasional phantom creak of unknown origin once in a while just like everyone, but probably not as much (my impression anyway) as when I was on 105 and certainly not as much as when I was Sora.

Wow, I did see them behind the path blockage fencing this morning, but I figured they were just milling about preparing to do nothing again.
It's still ridiculous no one took a few hours back in June to move the path blockage out of the way and slide these barriers over to open the bridge more, once they realized it was being delayed.

Here's how it's going to go. Posts in before winter. Sit till spring. Top rail in by summer. Sit till fall. Cables in by winter 2024. Sit till spring. Remove fencing by summer 2025.

Does anyone have any recommendations on secure bike parking downtown? I just moved to Bankers Hall and they want $115 per month for a bike parking stall which seems outrageous.
The CPA lots are mostly full except for Cenntiral Parkade, which I am looking at but would be open to other ideas. I have a cargo bike so need a fairly large lock-up area.

Seriously $115 per MONTH!!!!!???
That seems very wrong.
Per year yeah that’s ok.
Most I’ve ever paid was $60 per 6 mo.
Currently have free parking in locked garage that has individual hooks per bike, has pump and tools too, plus shower facilities.
So I struggle that Wankers Hall is so far behind.

They must be cleaning and tuning your bike every week for that price

Yeah, it seems totally outrageous.
In my old building, there was free onsite bike parking, which was self-managed and not 3rd partied out.
In the case of Bankers Hall, it seems Indigo handles the Bike Parking.

Ok finally talked directly to someone and it's $150 per year not per month, which makes way more sense. Phewf.

Ya, I'm in Bankers Hall and the impark lot is $150/yr. Tons of space in the room I'm in as well.

Kind of a random question on a bored Monday morning- anyone know if that short little climb in the very SW corner of Fish Creek Park (kind of near the Everglade Cir entrance and has a 'cyclists must dismount and walk' warning) is the steepest climb in Calgary? I know it is fairly brief, but I can't think of anything quite as steep.

That's frustrating cause they told me it's 100% full so I'm in Bankers Court. Not a huge deal.

I've never been down that way, but the climb out of Sandy beach park up to 50th avenue is pretty brutal on the last bit.

Worse than the climb out of Beaverdam flats onto the Lynnwood Ridge?

It is part on the annual Ronde de cowtown, don’t know if anyone rides it on a regular basis, there is really no reason to other than to say you did
