In the Thrawn trilogy, and the subsequent novels, and I'm going to spoiler tag this here in case it's an Ahsoka spoiler:
Spoiler!
okay I was going to ask what Thrawn was doing out in the galactic 'burbs, cuz I couldn't at all remember--its been 30 years since I read Heir, after all-- but as I was typing out my question I remembered Outbound Flight, and that's where the Jedi mission ran into Thrawn and/or his people, yes?

I'll also put mine in spoilers in case people want to finish Rebels before starting Ahsoka.
Spoiler!
Going off memory here as I watched rebels back in the the great covid binge. At the end of Rebels Ezra sacrifices himself and takes Thrawn with him on a space whale. I forget the exact logistics, but apparently the space whales can travel vast distances (worm hole type thing maybe?).

The Thrawn Trilogy and outbound flight are no longer Canon, so those reasons don't apply. Instead the end of Rebels does apply.
Thrawn and Ezra were sent to the far away galaxy by the Purrgils.

Ok, ok, I think I'm up to speed. I had to go back to confirm I did actually watch the end of Rebels. It's Clone Wars I didn't finish, and I simply forget Rebels.

Thats probably handy.
Once again...huge props to KTrain who posted those serialized seasons. Those were awesome.
If he posts in here again he can once again have my thanks.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Edit moved this post to the Ahsoka thread. Can delete this please.

This might be a comic book type of question, but I'm interested in reading some of the Vader comics out there and in particular was looking to start with the omnibus from 2017.
It however appears to be sold out most places and others want $250+ for it. Anyone know of a place in the city I could find something like this? I was thinking Fairs fair might have something but it could be hit or miss finding it there.

If you're not hung up on "owning" the book, you could do a subscription to Marvel Unlimited for a month or two and read all the Vader and Star Wars comics they have in the app. I love it on the iPad. Reading panel to panel is great too for not being spoiled by seeing future panels.

This sums it up nicely. Might be the reason some people struggle to get through it. Worth making it through the first couple seasons that were more child focused.

Tis true, but one of my favourite parts of the whole series is still in episode 1.

Honestly the same issue with the earlier half of Rebels. The latter seasons get pretty dark.
Lucasfilm is undergoing slight structural changes in its leadership. Dave Filoni, former head of animation, who was promoted to Executive Creative Director at Lucasfilm a few years ago, will assume the title of Chief Creative Officer at the company, he revealed to Vanity Fair.
Aw crap. I was hoping they were going to give that job to Favreau.
Well hopefully his passion for the material will shine through whatever lenses cloud his vision.
I also worry that he might be a Kennedy stool-pigeon. At least we know that Favreau was willing to stand up to her, will Filoni?
