Especially with the timing of Justins disastrous Trip to India.
I expect that India's response is going to be immediate and heavy handed. I'm sure that Cameron McKay (our AtI is packing his bags as we speak)

The CBC article states he consulted with Biden, Macron and Sunak and also with Polievre and Singh before announcing it in the Commons, but you think he didn't consult with the RCMP beforehand? That he just "blurted" it out like a slip of the tongue?

Looks like the UCP government is not the only government in Canada that is putting significant green projects in risk due to policy decisions. $50B is at risk:
https://globalnews.ca/news/9967804/c...ch-incentives/
Quote:
More than a year after Canada first announced incentives to jumpstart clean technology projects there is still no money flowing, and if they are not in place soon, more than $50 billion in investments could be at risk, industry groups said.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government has pledged a bevy of investment tax credits (ITCs) worth some $27 billion over five years to spur investment in green technologies, partly in response to the generous incentives that have been on offer in the United States for more than a year.
“Companies are going to get pretty tired of waiting around given the certainty that they do have in the U.S.,” said Bob Masterson, President and CEO of the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada. The government “urgently needs to get as much of this out the door this fall as possible.”
Masterson says there are “well beyond $25 billion of proposed investments” in more than a dozen projects in his industry that are waiting for the incentives.

Or maybe I dunno elect the party with fresh ideas, instead of a vessel government that causes problems and expects others to think a way out.

It's really a testament to how effective capitalist propaganda is that people still parrot stuff like this and trickle down economics.

For the record, I thought his statement was very strong. It was the first time I could picture him as PM.

Ooooooo a slip of the tongue.
A Canadian was allegedly assassinated on our own soil by another government. Let’s try and stay somewhat sane here.

He accidentally used a word that no reasonable Canadian would use. No reason to jump all over him for that. Bigger problem is his and his party’s undying support for Modi and the Indian government.

I've obviously missed the news from the past but when did PP show undying support for Modi?
