Well. Romano showed up to play today. Masterful performance and still only 18 pitches.

Being blown out by the Rangers plus the effort from Berrios gave us a chance to keep the high leverage arms fresh. That is definitely a good thing today.

If I had to choose between Kirk up with two guys on with less than one out and having Tyler Heineman hit…I kind of would lean Heineman.

Not bunting with Biggio was managerial incompetence of the highest order.

Getting Biggio to first with Kirk coming up was pretty much exactly what the Red Sox wanted. Walking was a net negative move for the Jays.

I honestly don’t know what this team is doing.

In high leverage spots with the double play in order, the Jays would be better served to ask Kirk to simply stand there and take three strikes like a pitcher would.

If this is overturned, it would be the dumbest rule other than the blocking play at home.

Yah, the visiting team should int walk the lead off batter every time in extra innings while the home team, if still tied should be bunting the runner to third every time.
