Well, unemployment is at near historic lows, the economy is still growing and consumer spending continues to remain strong. I know that people want to paint that as the end times, and politically a major recession would be helpful, but things don't seem all that bad.

Note: Swiss inflation is low. Why? Much less reliance on fossil fiels for electricity for one thing. It's almost all hydro and nuclear.

There were no housing resolutions, which is weird, you would think they would have one idea at least on housing. Many ideas about social issues like diversity hiring and LBGTQ rights.

All of that was Senator Marshall’s words, not Freeland’s. Probably to serve Brian Lilley an alley-oop.

I guess that means they go to a male prison. More examples just like that so they “ can protect our wives and daughters”. I have a trans relative, they already live in fear…..

Also some quotes about woke ideology, etc, etc.

UCP partisans who are here - this is the feed the liberals need - keep giving it to them and see what happens.

I grew up a conservative voter, haven’t voted that way for a number of cycles now. What I keep watching saddens me greatly.

Sounds good let the voters decide.

Keep leaning into the right wing agenda and they will decide, and you will not like what you see.

In short, this isn't new.

Not to defend spending or debt, but inflation devalues the debt, somewhat compensating for the higher debt service charges. In theory wages and therefore tax revenue will rise.

More or less weird than why you’d bring up how having socially progressive values somehow takes away from struggling Canadians?

It doesn’t, as you can empathize with someone you don’t care about, but that sounded nice anyway.

Your personal situation has just as much to do with anything as your personal opinion does, so why not? Why are you being weird about it and making it weird?

If the majority of Canadians are struggling at least a significant amount I’m assuming you’re one, yeah? Tell us about it. It’d be helpful to hear how you’re struggling and how the Conservative party has outlined their solution to those things.

I’m not weird. You’re weird for thinking I’m weird.

Since you are sooo wanting to talk about personal finances, you go first.
