Default Rock 107 - Gunman with explosives at City Hall (Calgary)
I just heard this on Rock 107 that there is an armed man with explosives in city hall, and everyone should avoid macleod and downtown if possible. What the hell is going on in Calgary!? Hopefully this is resolved without anyone getting hurt. Special forces are there now, the building has been evacuated.

Man on main floor with a handgun and some explosives.

From 660, police are taking a "wait and see" approach. However...I will say that there is alot more going on then what is being reported.

Now it's a "distraught man".

City Hall is surrounded. Steer clear if you are going downtown.

I wonder if this means the train is stopped.

Police advised that the train wont be stopping at City Hall station - no word if it's going to be stopped altogether.

Negotiators - pffft... - shoot to kill.

I work with the emergency services and was prepped and assigned to this particular incident. I'd love to say more...but I know anyone can read these forums and I don't wanna sacrifice my job

Really? You stole that statement from MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc... during the VT reports didnt you?

I've been listening to this damn rock 107 station since reading the first post. I've never listened to it before. I think they should play more Led Zeppelin. It's been two hours and they've only played 4 songs and had a single segment devoted to their sales figures.
