A Trudeau exit would trigger a leadership race. I don't think it would trigger an election unless the new leader had a honeymoon bump in the polls and they decided to run on that.

My comment about signing a petition for PP to be the King of the country was tongue-in-cheek. However, if we were to have a King I would prefer PP over JT.

Pot meet kettle. I have a feeling you couldn’t sign up fast enough for a liberal for life overlord.

That's... neither remotely accurate nor in any way funny.
The joke appears to be that she has a stereotypical advertisement voiceover voice.

Your comment may have been tongue-in-cheek, but it does represent the reality of Conservative voters, which is why I ask the question you keep not answering.

I don’t know why. Maybe they dislike sky-high costs of living and high taxes. Maybe they just don’t like Justin Trudeau’s hair.
Who knows…!

Most new leaders don’t take long to seek their mandate, and usually there would be a poll bump. The only window for this to happen is likely next spring, after that you are just heading to the next election.

I really wouldn’t say taxes are “high”, would you? Based on what? Compared to who? Especially weird comment from an Albertan.
Albertans straight up just are NOT realistic about taxes, what they need to look like relative to the demanded standard of living from public services.
Remember the Preston Manning “look in the mirror” comment that destroyed his political career? He was right. 100x over. The more Albertans that get this the better off we will be. Especially conservatives.

I only wish his career had been destroyed, you are thinking Jim Prentice.

She's in her late 40s. A woman could be a grandmother at a much younger age than that.

In that case, I don't think timun needed to end the sentence with a question mark either.

I think it works either way, especially since her being a grandmother isn’t in dispute
