A little surprised that the Novak - Shelton match is not in prime time tonight. Maybe the organizers think the Charlie - Meddy match will be a more interesting match (I think it just might be).

I understand what you're saying GS and it does make sense (you want to give the guys who played on Wednesday as much rest as possible), but it's only a difference of four hours.

Not surprising to me. Alcaraz is gold right now to networks, advertisers, and casual fans. Any match he's in would likely dwarf even an all American semi final in TV ratings.

I maybe slightly biased (maybe) but to me, this is the greatest US Open final I've ever seen. Hard to believe it's been 4 years already, I still go back to this match and re-watch the 5th set once a year
