There aren’t really any more Republicans. There are just Trumpers. The MAGA voters run the primaries so anyone remotely interested in democracy or bipartisanship is immediately eliminated.
There isn’t anyone left to “come to their senses”.
There’s always his kids though, which is horrifying.
1. Highly unlikely because the Democrats will not select someone other than Biden as long as he's still around.
2. Republicans will never abandon Trump. I believe the only candidate to say he wouldn't support Trump if nominated was Christie.
3. More likely than 1 and 2.
4. Most likely of all options so far. Feel like Republicans will be the more motivated group this time around.
5. Don't see this happening...
I don't think there is any way the real powers in Washington let Trump take office ever again. It would be a world crisis the likes we have never seen before. Right now it looks like the 14th amendment argument is starting to gain real traction.

Who are the real powers?

This video is from 2016 where Fox News Jeanine Pirro said. “We cannot have a country led by a president subject to ongoing criminal investigations, potential indictment, and never-ending hearings." Today she supports Trump and Pirro dismissed the charges against Trump as “a bunch of theater” What a hypocrite!

I don't know how long Biden and the Democrats have been promoting "Bidenomics" but I find that tagline really stupid and cringeworthy.
Yeah it doesn't really roll off the tongue. But as per your post, it does a great job of making sure Biden's economic achievements are reminded to voters of both sides, kind of like Obamacare.

The problem is in the marketing.
If you poll Republicans, they'll tell you that the love the Affordable Care Act.
Ask them how they feel about "Obamacare" and they'll tell you that it's terrible and ruining the country.
The only problem with those two policy names?
Unfortunately, calling something Bidenomics will immediately alienate the moderate Republicans that might consider themselves Never-Trumpers. Call it a generic name and they'll probably just look at the policy itself instead of the man behind it.
It's a mistake for the Dems to do this, even if it rallies their base and moderate voters.

I don't know. Conservatives still have some reputation of being better economic managers and you know the GOP will be hammering their economic acumen during the election. Can't be a bad thing for the Dems to get on the front foot advertising their economic successes.

I'm not sure why they'd have that reputation when it's not true. The country generally does better under Democratic presidents than it does under a Republican presidency.
Quote:
Since 1933, the economy has grown at an annual average rate of 4.6 percent under Democratic presidents and 2.4 percent under Republicans, according to a Times analysis. In more concrete terms: The average income of Americans would be more than double its current level if the economy had somehow grown at the Democratic rate for all of the past nine decades. If anything, that period (which is based on data availability) is too kind to Republicans, because it excludes the portion of the Great Depression that happened on Herbert Hoover’s watch.

Yes, everyone but Republicans agree. But perception is reality and generally people believe conservatives are better with money regardless of reality
Agree.
I think about the "why" a lot. How I justify it, is most people think of economics how they balance their household budget. That usually means, cutting expenses and saving more of their pay check, or at least that's the mentality. Fewer folks think, well time to get a new job or up skill and get more money for their unit of work. So you're already pushing people to the limits a bit with growing wages, social spending, etc as more cost = bad, even if it's paired with more economic benefit.
Throw sovereign debt into the equation in a country that can control inflation (e.g. own supplies of water, energy and food, with a currency they can control through monetary policy) and you're way off the house hold budget scenario. After that good luck explaining fiat currency, then the real estate and gold nuts come out.
Conservatives have done a great job controlling the message linking government / regulations to a poor economy / waste and laying it all on the plate of non-conservatives.
Honestly if you're not in the top 5%-10% of earners and voting conservative you better really dislike minorities and women because there's not much other benefits to talk about.
I think it's much simpler than that. Republicans have been repeating for decades that they are better at the economy, military and other 'grown-up' stuff. They are generally poor at governing but very good at coordinating their messaging. Democrats have been generally better at governing but terrible at messaging and selling their accomplishments.

The current press secretary really struggles with selling Biden’s accomplishments.
