Dang, this is going to be a tough ask to win two sets in a row here. Especially with cramps.

Sinner needs to win this marathon opening game of set 4 or it's going to be curtains for Jannik.

Sinner couldn't pull out the break. This might be it for him.

Both players are gutting it out and giving it their all, and for all their efforts they get to play a fully rested Alcaraz

I thought Sinner was going to fade away after losing the first game of the 4th set, but he persevered and now finds himself in a 5th and deciding set.

I think Sinner was complaining to the umpire that Zverev took too long on that serve that saved a break point.

Quite a match developing between Tiafoe and Shelton.
Wimbledon is my favorite major, but ESPNs coverage of the US Open is on point.

Shelton has fared well in the two hard court grand slams this year. He still has some rough edges but the talent is undeniable and it's just a matter of him getting more experience on clay and grass.

he's all raw undisciplined fearless power. his game from yesterday night won't be enough to upset Djoker, but he has zero chance if he tries to dial it back. best strategy is more of the same, close your eyes and swing, and hope you can Stanimal your way through it.

Someone mentioned that Shelton is the same as 2017 Shapovalov, just this young kid with no baggage willing to go all out on every shot no matter the score or what happened the previous point.

Being able to hit near 150 mph on serve definitely doesn't hurt. His 107 mph average speed on 2nd serves is best of all players in the tournament. He has potential to be more than a servebot as he also hits the ball as hard as anyone and is decent at the net. Just has to improve his footwork and patience. I do think he has the potential to win a US Open or Australian Open as once Novac retires there's going to be openings and Alcaraz won't win them all.
