Early days and all that, but it certainly looks like the three promoted teams will be going right back down.

Burnley are awful, I know they haven't looked good earlier but losing 5-1 to this Spurs team should be automatic relegation.

But it is early, we know Everton, Wolves and Chelsea will be in the relegation battle as well so we shall see, but the early returns for the promoted teams has been pretty grim.

Haha, well one of these teams is not like the others, but it's hilarious to watch that spending flop. The heat might be on Poch already?

Spurs looked great again. It's early, but at least the style is attractive and progressive. Maddison has been an excellent signing and a bargain at £40m (£30m if yoh consider Winks going the other way).

Chelsea invested less this summer than in January, so no wonder they are struggling. Can't be successful if you're that passive in the transfer market.

Maddison is signing of the season so far

Hes been incredible

Udogie and Sarr are essentially new signings and have both been great as well, two of the best young players in the league

Kompany is a great manager imo, but hes naive at this level, hes played his regular style now vs city and spurs and the talent gap is just too much

Forest next should be a good test, but after that its united, Chelsea, newcastle

I fully got all the complaining about Chelsea's spending, and the 8 year contracts and all of that. But hasn't it also been pretty obvious there's no actual strategy there? They can throw another billion at their team if they want, but without an actual strategy it's just gonna be lighting money on fire.

I don't see a plan either. And I can't help but be unimpressed whenever I see their lineups too ... it's pretty underwhelming when you consider the money they've spent.

But given the insane amount of talented players they've signed, I think it's inevitable that a solid XI will be in place at some point down the line. But I'm going to enjoy the heck out of every bad result until then lol.

said it before, but it's insane how well-run Brighton is as a club. 18-year-old Evan Ferguson with the hattrick against Newcastle.

I'm so glad England can't claim Ferguson lol. Gotta be Ireland's biggest prospect in a very long time.

And it must just kill them!

Not like Southgate would select him anyways...too risky!

Seems like no matter who they sell, they just keep ticking on.

Good list of their big 9 sells:

Newcastle have had a tough schedule obviously, but seeing them lose three in a row brings me joy nonetheless.

That's where choking that game away last week hurts for them. Losing to City and Brighton away you could fully expect, but losing against 10 men at home really hurts.

He picked maguire and henderson for this window

Jude Bellingham has basically turned into zidane at Madrid, and he may lose time to Jordan henderson

I long for the days of sven

33 year old choosing to play in a joke league, he should have no business making that squad again. But we all know Southgates loyalty knows no boundaries

This is the kind of thing that allows Levy to get away with it season after season. The way Spurs fans buy into smoke and mirrors and hype up nothing results time after time shows why they are worst fans, by far, in football and why the club will continue going on winning nothing.

dude, you've just sold your best player and you still had a really successful start to the season, and you're playing attractive football on top of it. Why don't enjoy the ride?
