Actually, his friend said Americans were the stupidest people in the world, which isn’t necessarily calling 340 million people stupid, just suggesting they’re collectively occupying the lowest rung of the “who is stupid” ladder.

"Americans are dumb" is certainly an unfair shortcut. 74 million people voted for Trump in 2020, that's about 22 percent of the population ... that's a lot of Americans who made a dumb decision, but obviously also a lot who didn't. Certainly, a lot of Americans suffer from those who make dumb decisions and vote dumb people like MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Hawley etc. into positions of power.

Sometimes I ask myself why it's that group that always seems to get caught embarrassing themselves in public and always seems to have to intimidate others and impress their belief systems on everyone else.
Also, they always seem to have their 'rights' constantly infringed on. They're never free enough.

People living a province that voted in Smith has to be careful of rocks/glass houses. Would people who voted for Smith not vote for Trump if it was Trump vs the NDP?
