Sliver, you guys should get a Pine Marten or a Fisher. Roughly the same size as the doxie, and no barking. Meaner than stink too, so you won't have to worry about people wanting to pet them and you'd for sure never have to worry about cats in your yard (nom nom).

I think I'd feel too obligated to spend time with it, cause it'd be locked in there. And I also don't like paw prints on my vehicles.
With a yard cat though, they are totally free. If I come outside and it's there, great, and if it decides to leave on a walkabout, that's also fine.
I guess I kinda just want a part-time pet at this point, and only so long as it's not inside my house.

Anybody know what’s going on with macleod trail? Sounds like north and southbound are closed at 162nd Ave.

Ugh, that was my guess. The 162nd overpass was closed as well. Took my wife an hour to go from Macleod to millrise. Hope everyone is ok and likely a good idea to steer clear of that area for a few hours at least.

I can completely understand the eagerness to start celebrating labour day long weekend as early as possible but most civilized people don’t get drunk enough to make jokes that bad before 6pm on the Friday.

We got out of there at about 3:00am. De-escalated with no injuries

Wow, was Macleod closed the whole time too? Kudos to everyone involved and very glad to hear there were no injuries. My wife must have been part of the very start of the closure and detours at 4:30ish PM.

Lol! I've been to France 3 times and I speak fluent (Canadian but not Quebec) French.
It is hilarious to me because that arrogant French attitude...that cuts both ways.

I just tried those for the first time recently in Australia. Really good.
But of course no requirement for French packaging there...
