Seen a couple short tictok videos saying that Franco had a kid who’s about 2 with that 14 year old. That’s crazy if true. How is he not charged with endangerment at this point?

Yeah with the way waivers work in MLB, Cleveland and Cincinnati essentially had first crack at each one of those players.
Claims go by reverse win percentage, not playoff position. And what I didn't know (and it seems like an odd rule) is that it resets for every player. So basically being on the fringe of contention gave the Reds and Guardians the ability to load up like this.
Still while Cleveland only has one team to catch, they are 5 games back. And while Reds are only 1.5 games out of a wild card, a lot of teams are in the mix.
Those Angel players seem kind of cursed so we'll see what happens.

Giolito has to be thrilled with this development. Going to an extremely pitcher friendly park with a great coaching staff will likely help his contract situation. He was a CY young contender for a few seasons there but has since fallen off. Especially with the Angels. Woof. The stench of that organization is real.

Twins lead the Guardians 9-1. Mostly thanks to 9 runs off Giolitto in 3 innings. Might be Giolitto who has become the trash.
