Well, honestly, IDK WTF you're talking about and yeah, I would love there to be a bear cull; however, I've had a place in Canmore for a couple years now and I went from not walking to the garbage dumpster at my complex without my bear spray and I had my head on a swivel waiting for bears to pounce on me any second to riding my bike through the trails basically every day I'm out there without being scared of bears. If I run into one I feel prepared. So yeah, I guess I've gotten a bit better WRT bears. Sorry it wasn't a schtick to entertain you? Some people are actually afraid of man-eating killer beasts that weigh 500 pounds. Go figure.

Does it have to be a vet? I’m sure the guys that do black market organ transplants could take care of it.

Were you not the one who started the dogs are gross thread with very strong opinions? And now you are getting a dog.

Didn’t work for my neighbours bernadoodle. She just ignored the vibrations.

OMG I think you may need to start linking to the exact whatever-the-####-it-is you're talking about. I've had thousands of posts on here.
Do I hate dogs? Generally, yes. They smell, they piss/#### everywhere, they bark, they bite, people have too many of them, I don't like when they touch me because nine times out of ten they're dirty, etc. etc. I could go on forever.
Have I developed a bond with a dog that I let come to my work over the past year? Yes, I have.
Would I get a dog for myself? Not in a million years.
Do I want to limit my wife's life experiences to appease my eccentricities? No, not even a little.

Plenty of us have lost 1-1 votes and ended up with a dog. I never had a dog growing up, and had zero interest, but mine has definitely grown on me. Like you, I'm not going to take some "my way or the highway" approach to marriage.

Weak! I totally won that one just by laying out how sucky 7am dog walks picking up warm turds in a plastic bag before work on -20 days would be for her. And that we are both gone all day, which isn't fair on a dog. So we got the better pet anyway, a cat.

We tried the cat thing but ended up with a dud. I really like kittens, although our dud one shat on my pillow.

Cats are all duds. You probably got a great one Sliver, and that's just all there is.

Couldn't be more wrong. Mine is everything dog owners dream of. Affectionate and cuddly when you want to spend time with it but otherwise independent. Can be let outside and will return to house at night. Poops in its box.

Celebrated Square Root Day

After lots of frustration from posters on this site over QAnon/conspiracy/misinfortmation posters taking over with their bull**** for too long, it seems mods have really responded this past week.
That's really good to see.

Wet nose or dry nose? I love cats with a wet nose. I like when they jam their wet nose in you ear as it kinda tickles and you can hear them breath all funny and fast. So cute.
Are the insides of her ears usually cold? Those are my fav. I like turning a cat's ears inside out and then very quietly kissing or nuzzling the cold inside of the ear.
Does she ever lick your fingers and then you grab her tongue between your thumb and forefinger and she lets you just sit there holding her funny little tongue?
Those are my three main requirements for a cool cat.

See it allllll the time in the Trades thread on FOI ("So... any trades??"), and see it occasionally in Off Topic as well.
Strange every time. Fascinating. And not something I recall seeing on any other social media platform.

I suppose this post is permitted in the random thought thread, but, like, there is some irony here.
Would you like to talk about this, though? We can, man.
