Sam Witwer was spotted in the Ahsoka credits, which is fuelling the speculation.
SW Theory was bouncing around the idea that Marrok is Witwer/Starkiller, which would give us a showdown between Anakin's apprentice and Vader's apprentice, which would be pretty delicious.
Heard that Starkiller is pretty overpowered in the games though, so obviously that would need to be toned down a bit for the show.

He literally pulls a Star Destroyer out of orbit and crashes it into a planet. He's massively overpowered.

Over powered is an understatement.
But you had to do it for the type of video game that they built.
Pulled a Star Destroyer out of the sky
Crushed Imperial Walkers like beer cans
Depending on the ending that you took. Slapped Vader around like a 12 year old. Or slapped Palpatine in the face, called him Emperor Testicle Face and then proceeded to put him over his knee and spank him while yelling "Whose the bad Sith"
In the second game basically B slapped a monster the side of Brooklyn
Force grabbed the Falcon and threw it into a snow bank.
In the second game literally one punched Vader in the D once he accumulated enough Force Power.
Basically in the second game he was literally like a small nuclear bomb that could reduce anything around him in a 5 block range to ash.
Even playing Vader at the start of the first game then playing Starkiller through you were like Woah, Vader's got nothing on me.
As over powered as Ashoka was as a Padawan, Starkiller would probably pull a moon out of orbit and crush her with it.
Again because the game needed him to have god mechanics.
So they'd have to seriously power him down if they bought him in.

Edwards and co. got the menacing and cutthroat nature of the imperial elite down and Vader's scenes still hit as hard as ever.
If only they had their current deep fake guy back then to do Tarkin's scenes. It would have completed it.
I would say Mando season 3 didn't really have it though. They kind of lost the Way in that season. It was so inconsistent eposode to episode and not cohesive as a whole. It rushed parts that needed more time and love. The first two seasons certainly though.
HM to Book of Boba Fett episode 6.

Yeah I agree with all of this. Forgot about Rogue One, agree its a great addition. I love how it leads into A New Hope. Makes Leia's open defiance of Vader a lot more powerful IMO.
I don't know what was up with including one of the most crucial stories of Mando in Boba Fett. So dumb.

back from vacation so sorry if this was talked about sooner but:
how did whoever (the nightsisters?) create in the past the map to other galaxy to find thrawn? Or is it just a coincidence that the purgill dropped him there?
also I sorta wondered if we might see a Yuuzhan Vong as Filoni almost added them to TCW at one point. (I suspect not but)

I think someone else mentioned it, but the map wasn't created to track Thrawn, but some older race of people used it to track Purgill movements. Thrawn and Ezra just happened to be attached to Purgills before they were warped to that other galaxy.

They need to at least put the YYYs in the soundtrack when they're going through the wormhole.

That episode was way to short. I needed and wanted more.

Episode 3 was good, but echoing the sentiment about episode length. Really wish they'd just release the entire show all at once instead of this week to week BS.

I can see why.
That need to rebuild the brand and rebuild trust. If they have a good show lined up (which is appears they do) the week to week release allows for discussions and speculation in between eps and word of mouth to pick up over the weeks and hopefully it brings more eyeballs for the back half.
A one and done full series release would probably go by mostly unnoticed given the lack of appetite around star wars right now.

I have mixed feelings about the show so far. There seems to be a lot of pointless scenes. The training scenes are way too long. I'm finding the actor who plays Wren to be awful at acting. The aesthetics of the droid seem off too. Rosario Dawson just looks like she is wearing a rubber hat with white face paint lines. The makeup effect are really bad. I've actually fallen asleep twice in in this show.
I think there are a lot of positives too. I'm pretty intrigued by the bad guys, the whales, the intergalactic travel, etc...There just seems to be a lot of filler.

Liked the call backs to Episode 4 with the gun turrets and blind training.
Also liked that Sabine is not talented with the force. Would be cool to see her become a lightsaber specialist who could take out more powerful force users with martial skill.

I enjoyed the training scene too much, Sabine had nice shoulders. The villians, as many have said, are highly compelling and I hope that continues.
I find Ahsoka too detached at times, is my main critique, I want to see some emotion by the end of the series.
I was thinking about the Jedi that survived the purge. There was Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Baylan. Then there are the hunted like Jedi but not true Jedi which includes Kanan a Padawan, and Ahsoka who left the order. It seems that eventually these survivor's all took apprentices eventually, leading to Luke most importantly. I Kanan shouldn't count as a survivor as he died while the Inquisitors were still a thing, unlike Yoda or Obi-Wan.
