Haha, that's totally my dad's group of friends. They go to the Canmroe A&W and constantly complaining about how bad the roads are getting screwed up out there(and on that point, they are correct) and how to fix them.

MoneyGuy, Slava and I have commiserated at length on the atrocious Financial and Taxation advice doled out in A&Ws and Casino Breakfasts.

I'm telling you....'Logan's Run' was on to something.

I am unfamiliar with this establishment.

Did they spend the rest of their day filling in potholes?

A random stray cat, friendly, walked into my garage. Should I call the humane society or the vet? I see signs of mites. Cat is a bit underweight, but nothing crazy. I'm fine with fostering a cat but I don't really want to own this cat long term. Any thoughts?

Are you friendly with your local Chinese restaurant?

City animal services has been dealing with stray cats for the last few years, I'd start by calling them. Humane society used to have an agreement with the city for stray cats but that fell through. The city may use aarcs now but I'm not positive.

Also my father-in-law, just up in High Level where they live. I think it's written into the Old Geezer contract. Doesn't matter if they have company, he has his morning joe with the Geezer Crew. Hubby has gone with him a couple of times, when we've been visiting, but generally, we just call it Dad Time and he pops out and is home soon enough. Keeps him happy.

Is an 80gram chocolate bar a “family size” or barely enough for a sugar/choco hit?I say the latter.

In general for candy is there a defined weight point where it goes from “single serving” (and Gst applicable) to the next level?

I think 1 bite before you throw up = 1 serving of candy

Bell shut it down in June, the same time they shut down the TSN radio station in Edmonton (and a bunch of other AM stations across the country).

It's funny that Sydney quit UPS to work with Carmy at The Beef. Had she stayed, she'd be making $170k with benefits.

Was very surprised by this. I don’t usually pay attention to the actual brand for around the house, but I do know they make those mini packs that are perfect for hiking and biking. Gonna go see what we can find and stock up.

My nephew was in a head on collision a couple of hours ago, just outside Creston, BC. They rushed him straight to Cranbrook, and all we know is they're assessing him. If he's bad enough, he'll get sent to the Foothills, which will suck big time for my brother and his wife and daughter. I'm trying not to freak out but I'm very worried. If they ship him to the Foot, I can go be there until his folks/sister can get here (they all live in Creston).
Please keep him in your thoughts. He is one of the best/nicest young men and I don't just say that because I'm his aunt but because it's just who he is. I need him to be ok.
