At the very least, nuclear reactors providing safe, clean energy would be a fantastic stop gap until the unicorn piss is invented. And be viable for generations.

Same arguments made in the Canadian thread. Some have debated that Trudeau is imposing widespread economic carnage in the pursuit of climate change, not that climate change doesn't exist.
The point of the debate is, Vivek, agree with him or not, had enough guts to call the climate change agenda a hoax, something his counterparts, who believe the same thing, were too afraid to do.

If he was trying to make a nuanced point about the right approach to climate change, he would have. He used exactly the words he needed to to whip up the frenzied base he is courting. You don't need to do the wordsmithing for him.

Trump is headed to jail right now. This will be interesting and I wonder if he will have any sort of press conference after they let him out on bail.

WTF? CNN just reporting that he is 6'3" and his weight was 215 lbs (self reporting, Trump filled out the form). That could be the biggest lie ever.

For reference, that’s the same height and weight of Noah Hanifin on the Flames website lol.

Lol that's pretty funny actually, everyone was trying to guess what his real weight was, I figured they wouldn't actually weigh him.

You find it laughable that a change in climate, which in some places makes things wetter or stormier, and in others (say inland away from a water source) makes things drier and hotter, more primed for that increased likelihood of a summer thunderstorm (again, due to an increase in humidity because of higher evaporation rates...you know, from hotter climate) to cause a lightning strike that could lead to a rapid increase in forest fire rate and area of burn.
Like, do you even hear yourself when you say such stupid ####?
STFU you ignoramus.

Since the 1950s. This has been a very long battle and the fossil fuel industry has been spectacularly effective at creating a counter narrative to hide the facts. They've paid massive amounts of money to think tanks to create disinformation to counter the academic research and evidence of the reality we are no feeling. Yoyo is an example of the efficacy of this noise, even as the world literally burns around him.

Sure. But nuanced? It's a debate you've got to get attention. That said he did go into detail, having to go nuclear etc...
