Let's see RNH score 115 points playing with Bennett and Duclair not on the Mcpowerplay
If McDavid has a season ending injury in September he is getting 45 points. Again, you really think Bouchard is one of the best playoff scorers of all time? Or did he play on the PP with McDavid?

Guessing you play maybe Div.3 non-contact hockey and have never gotten 80 points in a season.

And he'd still put up 80 on that PP. That's the joke. Wow you sure pwned him.

In Huberdeau's place last season RNH would struggle to hit 30 points.

Tenderness is only good for riding shotgun to real talent.

A top 20 winger? Nowhere but where he is right now.

Its a random list, it means nothing. But if someone is top 10 in league scoring I'm not mad if their 15th on the top forwards list of a random list. Seems reasonable enough.

Mr Enoch asked what's he worth in trade value and I think you could make the argument that he has better trade value than Huberdeau since he has less term and makes half the money. That's not even controversial. He's actually on a very good contract for what he brings.

Even the Oilers themselves know that McDavid props up everyone's totals...just look at their Bouchard negotiations that are ongoing

Of course McDavid props up everyones points he is very good player.
I was responding to your claims of 80 points and your lack of talent that you have never played 82 games.
Your condescending opinions and verbal diarrhea on every subject finally got to me.

Lol I have posted like 5 times this month because idiots are destroying the site. Lucky we had a few bans recently

RNH is a 50 point player who was on a historic powerplay driven by two other players. Any decent NHLer would be a top scorer in that position. Proof is the rest of his career.

The biggest negative Flames fans fight really hard to defend Oilers around here. Are people actually suggesting Huberdeau wouldn't be a 100 point player in that spot? Bouchard and Barrie for the Norris.

It's funny that you're this worked up over a random list that means nothing. No one said Huberdeau wouldn't be a 100pts player in his spot. You made that up. In the real world Hopkins did put up 104pts last year though so it's okay he made the top 20 of a random list.

you have been working pretty hard to defend it, pretty certain you have posted more than me in this thread

its a hockey forum to debate things, like stupid lists

If everything is based on points then why have any lists or debat at all

by this logic RNH is better than Brayden Point though

It's defending in your eyes because you seem to really care. If any player was in the top 10 of league scoring and made a top 20 list I'd be fine with that.

You're making things up again. I never said the player with the most points is the better player. But if someone puts up 104 pts clearly they're a pretty good player considering only 124 players have ever done it in NHL history.

You say this, and yet your 5 posts in this thread can only really be descibed as idiotic.

I will say this once more but slower for you:

EV-ERY-THING YOU POST AB-OUT NUGE CAN BE EAS-ILY SAID AB-OUT HU-BER-DEAU

And thats because it's all dumb conjecture with no point. Yes, we all here dislike the oilers. Yes, I personally don't think that Nuge is a great NHLer. But he did get a lot of points last year, and despite what you say about you being able to knock in pucks on that power play, the reality is that the Oilers themselves are full of players who are totally incapable of even doing that. You have even posted before in a thread that was discussing this that it actually takes talented players to keep up with talented players (of course, you were referring to Bennett I think, but you didn't understand when I just crossed out and replaced with Nuge so here we are.)

If you hate the player so much do some f-ing work and post about his terrible puck carrying, the amount of turnovers he coughs up, his lack of physical play (no hits), basically anything except just saying that he's the tenderness and got his points only because of Drai and McDavid. If that were feasible, Alex Chiasson would have a $6Mil/year contract in edmonton. They did try that.

lol you are kidding right? talk about idiotic that is one of the dumbest things ever posted on here
Huberdeau didn't score most of his points on the PP with McDrai. People say Barkov....who is often injured and outscored by Huberdeau anyway lol. In his 115 point season he outscored Barkov by 27 points but totally the same as 150 point McDavid dragging players to 50 points less than him.

I said any DECENT player (not Alex Chiasson) would have put up big numbers on that PP and its obvious. The rest of RNH's career is the proof but whatever

I don't hate the player he is just nowhere near a top 20 winger, he wouldn't put up those numbers anywhere else in the league

guess what Bouchard and Barrie would put up half the points elsewhere too, everyone with a brain knows it.

Unless you think Bouchard is one of the best playoff performers of all time

I will say this really slow so even you can understand

BEFORE MCDRAI RNH HAD A CAREER HIGH OF 56 POINTS
HUBERDEAU LED THE PANTHERS IN SCORING BY 27 POINTS

The usual suspects arguing with me just affirms how right I am so keep at it.

Two years ago Huberdeau was 3rd in the league in PP scoring and 6th at 5v5.

Last year Nugent-Hopkins was 3rd in the league in PP scoring and 58th at 5v5. And that's while spending more that half of his 5v5 with one of McDavid/Draisaitl.

Asinine to pretend they're comparable seasons.

I hope GMs look at more than one season to assess a player.

Thinking of publishing a list of the hundred skaters who had the best season last year and just printing the scoring race.
