If you do go to Costco, don't buy the Ralph Lauren pillows - they're absolute crap. We bought ours at Winners but Costco carries the same ones.

Don’t buy My Pillows. They’re unexceptional and you can do better. Besides, the owner is an a$$hole.

My parents and in-laws do that too but I find Costco doesn't have as much selection and the ranges, quality and comfort are kinda all over the place.

Winners has such a random eclectic variety of pillows that I just keep on picking up different ones until I find one to my liking.

I've also been having weird issues with my back and neck and I've been tweaking/re-stuffing and making my pillows from extra stuff as well. Every few months, it just seems like what was working before and was comfortable stops working for me.

Lots of things to tinker around with ranging from size, shapes, types of fill/amount of fill inside a pillow to tinker with. IMO it's worth the effort for the good nights sleep or preventing a migraine exacerbated by a bad sleep/stiff neck.

Buckwheat pillows are the only way to go.

Ikea is pretty reasonable for pillows and stuff.

I occasionally use a magic bag as a pillow. I'll also occasionally warm it up to to relax the neck muscles before I sleep.

I've often preferred smaller pillows that are filled with heavier stuff. Buckwheat is good, but my hands down favourite was a pu'er tea leaf pillow someone made for me.

I've spent over $200 on different types and styles of pillows in the last two years. I'm tinkering with them now to avoid purchasing even more.

So I’m the doctor’s waiting room this morning. I catch a glimpse of a woman (60s, I’d say) two seats over on her phone. She opens what is obviously a scam email, clicks and starts entering information. I was considering warning her but was then called to the examination room. Looking back I regret not saying something but I had to make a snap decision.

Probably too late now, but maybe still time to send an email offering to diagnose and fix any problems with their phone via remote access.

It looks like Overstock.com has purchased their IP and are going to be (or already have) renaming themselves to BB&B.

On the brick and mortar side, Rooms + Spaces is the one I was thinking of. Many former BB&B locations were scooped up by Putnam Investments, and will be converted to Rooms or Toys R Us'

Toys"R"Us Canada, hmv and beyond: Doug Putman creates new home store brand called rooms + spaces

TORONTO, May 3, 2023 /CNW/ - Canadian retail magnate Doug Putman is stepping into the gap left by Bed Bath & Beyond in a bold move that signals optimism for the future of retail in Canada. While American retailers increasingly close their doors here, Putman is injecting life into the Canadian retail landscape with a new Canadian home store brand, rooms + spaces. ( . . . )

That release is funny, so self-aggrandizing. Putnam buys dead brands for a dime, gets sweetheart leases for hard-to-fill spaces, fills the stores with crap and treats employees like garbage, and then lets the brands slowly die all over again.

Considering the amount of junk BBB carried, I can’t wait to see how much worse R+S is.

Oh, interesting. I hadn't heard that.

It looks like they've taken over the Chinook and Brentwood BB&B stores and are having their grand openings next weekend: https://www.roomsandspaces.ca/en/rns...tml#rns-events
