If varsho can start bringing a little more consistent offense, that would be a big help. Love to see it!

Buck really lacks precision about what’s happening on the field sometimes. Earlier in the game he originally called a ball that was fielded in foul territory in front of the base as fair and completely missed the fact that if the pitch hadn’t hit Jansen, Biggio would have run to third base.
Gibby! What a pop for him too. Hopefully they didn't let him leave the building without a conversation about coming back in some capacity.
Didn't think I'd even see Snider back after the way he left and was treated. Vernon Wells or Romero either.
Interesting they plop in Beeston to be the representative from the Bautista years, and Cito. Bautista in his prerecorded speech mentions AA and even Riccardi and a lesser note to Cito. Zero mention of any current management or executive by him and no other reference to those guys by the Jays.
As mentioned above, these 2HR may have been more clutch then the batflip one if the Jays won this game 6, the next one, and walked through the Mets like the Royals did, and win the WS.
Only reason the HR in the 8th was to tie it was because of the neckberded fan reached over the wall to give the Royals an HR earlier in the game (and the expanded strike zone the ump gave the Jays when bases were loaded in the 9th).

He thanked Mark Shapiro in his speech. No Atkins though.
Looks like the Royals choked away a 5 run lead in the 8th against the Mariners. That's unfortunate. After the Astros lost I really thought it would be a great oot for the Jays.

Boxscore watching. KC has runners on 1st and 3rd with nobody out in bottom of 9th. Perez up. As long as they don't pull a Blue Jay they should get a run in
