I liked Suter on the Wings. One of those depth role players that did his job and got a decent amount of points. I don't know the Canucks situation like you guys do, but maybe with some more opportunity he could expand his role.

I thought he has signed somewhere else already? I remember him being a guy the Canucks had a lot of interest in at the start of Free Agency and then nothing happened. Guy is a legit bottom 6 guy who does work. 1.6 Is a bit more than you would hope to pay at the very bottom but no denying the guy is effective.

His eyes are too small or something. Bad signing.

Good deal. There was definitely something a bit rotten in both Chicago and Detroit that was holding young players back. A ton of talent came through those systems, that went absolutely nowhere. There's definitely some good reclamation projects coming from both those systems.

Sounds like Myers to San Jose might be coming soon.

Edit - I'm assuming San Jose. Just people talking about Myers being gone shortly.

Is San Jose dumb they just gave away a 100 point player why bring in Meyers?

Isn’t Vancouver already overloaded with wingers?

I wonder if they have a trade in the works?

This is why you draft depth players... free agents are costlier.

He's a Centre. Can play wing too, but primarily used as a centre. He'll likely get a crack at 3LC on the Canucks ti start the season.

Myers may get moved prior to the season as some seem to think, but I wouldn't be surprised if a top 6 winger goes first and Myers later in the season.

Myers for Leblanc has been out there. Signing bonus on Sept 1. So might get done after that.

That's a good signing. Didn't think Pius Suter would amount to anything in the NHL at all.

I thought he'd turn out just like Gaetan Haas. He's proved me wrong.
