Danielle Collins isn't afraid to voice her opinion and she is as animated as anyone on tour. It should be a fun match tonight. If Leylah can bring the same form tonight that she did yesterday against Haddad Maia, I like Leylah's chances.

I guess one advantage of having the National Bank Open in different cities for the men and women is that bad weather usually only impacts one tourney at a given point in time. Play is currently suspended in Toronto for the men, but the women appear to have a beautiful day in Montreal.

Ruh Roh, now the storm clouds are rolling into Montreal. Iga had a chance to win her match in straight sets over Muchova, but it's going three and now the rain is falling before the start of set 3.

Play has resumed in Toronto and Milos is down a set to Mackenzie McDonald. Needs to get fired up and the crowd needs to help him as well.

I have to think the back is bugging Milos today, serve speed is way down and he's hitting a bunch of double faults. Movement is not good either.
Edit: Milos runs out of gas losing to Mackenzie McDonald 6-3 6-3.

He played a smart match today, I think he realized Milos was nowhere near 100% today and just made a bunch of first serves and kept the ball in play until he drew an error from Milos.

Yikes - not a great outing from Milos at all.
I will chalk it up to mental and physical fatigue and hopefully not an actual injury other than wear and tear from playing his first real string of matches in succession in some time.

Casper Ruud was two points away from the win with ADF serving at 3-5 love-30. ADF takes the match in a 3rd set tie-break (7-4 was the tie-breaker score).

No lead is safe today - Fritz was up 5-1 and serving for the set at 40-30 and ends up losing the opening set in a tie-break to De Minaur.
Edit: Fritz won set 2 6-4 , but then De Minaur sent a breadstick to Taylor in set 3. Seeds dropping like flies.

Damn with Ruud going out, Raonic’s quarter was wide open.
Plus no Djokovic who would have been his SF opponent.
Was really hoping for a magical Milos run.
