If he makes the team tope this next season, I hope it's because they're winning.

It's a tale as old as time. And I hate that it's so prevalent for many from different cultures who come here. It's saddening to witness that tension and struggle from one's own family which is supposed to be a support base and a place of refuge.

That’s quite a reach.

Wishing Oliver well and hope he's able to work and live without that distraction weighing him down.

I don't get the need to speculate on the specifics here. It was one of the reasons the team didn't say anything for a year. There's no need to fit a narrative to it, he was struggling with mental illness, overcame it, end of story.

Oliver coming back automatically makes me about 1000x more excited for this season. Outstanding player. So fun to watch.

It is always interesting too see what people can make up without knowing any of the specifics especially when it is more likely Kylington faced the challenges associated with being a second generation immigrant in Sweden.
His mom's story is pretty wild. https://www.nhl.com/flames/fans/flam...priceoffreedom

Excited for him.
We saw him play with this chip on his shoulder. I can only imagine how much of an impact he’s going to make with more ice time (assuming Hanifin is dealt) and more motivation to play. Add me to the “player most excited to watch” this upcoming season.

GOAT!

I think it's pretty awesome how much more willing everyone is to normalize getting help for mental (for lack of a better word) issues.
I'm a bit older, so I remember a time when people were heavily made fun of for having any kind of issues, and even moreso for needing/wanting/getting help for those issues.

Yeah well said.
Mental illness is an illness, just like any physical illness.
