Came up on my Instagram feed (can't remember the source)- "Montreal trades Hoffman and Pitlick for Legare, DeSmith, Petry and a 2nd". I read a bit about the Karlsson trade when it went down, but I guess nothing stuck in my memory (getting old).
I immediately checked the Canadiens website, where it's phrased kinda the same. My next stop was CP, and I was surprised nobody posted it yet! I was so excited to be the newsbreaker that I didn't think.
Like I said, I'm an idiot....
