The thing I'm liking is that you aren't seeing the ill advised shots or complete head scratching errors in bunches like you do from Shapo and Felix.

Diallo is still willing to get the ball in play and wait for a good opportunity to attack even though he clearly needs to avoid the lengthy rallies.

As they are touching on in the broadcast, once he learns to harness more power and play the net better, all bets are off as to how high he can climb.

I know we're biased but Laver Cup would be a joke if you chose a guy who hasn't played in two years. Is this a true competition or an exhibition? Having Kyrgios there is bad enough, i hope he pulls out. How is Krygios always a shoe-in for this team? There are 11 Americans alone in the top 100, and 7 Argentinians and 8 Australians. Are guys like De Minaur, Cerundolo and Jarry never going to be considered?

I think De Minaur should certainly be there over Kyrgios, Nick has played one match all year and seems content to be misogynistic and a bully on Twitter excuse me X these days. Cerundolo or Jarry would also be okay picks in my book, after all is it Team World, not Team North America. I think the other determining thing is that you're trying to win a single match and you can lay it all out on the line, if you do get hurt, other teammates can pick up the slack. I don't know if Johnny Mac has a sentimental bone in his body, but I don't think we're going to see Milos in 2024 thus it would be a nice swan song for him.

We need a 3rd set as Leylah allowed a match point to come and go late in set 2 and then was subsequently broken in the very next game.
