I liked the 3rd down gamble by Craig and not going for it by Dyce.

If riders punt, Ottawa gets the ball at midfield. It was like a foot. That should be a no doubter.

And for Ottawa, that’s a minute left and a long ass yard. Take the points and the lead. They lost because Alford is the best returner in the CFL and they let him loose at the worst possible time. As we saw on the final drive, Fine can’t hit the broad side of a barn. If he has to march more than 15 yards, riders lose.

You just answered on why Ottawa should have went for it. Alford. There was no way Fine was going to drive the Riders to the end zone at the end of the game.

That shows why you go for it. If you don't get it the Riders likely are two and out and punting it back to you in almost FG position already if you get any sort of return.

How many return yards did he have before the final drive again? They shut him down all day. Squib kick would have been a better idea.
