Much better game plan, although I would have liked to see just one bomb after getting Toronto to play up close. However, you can't argue with results and, for once, no interceptions.

Argos looked like a team that was due for a loss. But full credit to Calgary because this one wasn’t very close — Calgary controlled the line of scrimmage and those last two clock-melting drives were the definition of <chef’s kiss>.
I had a good feeling that Calgary would play well but did not predict a win. Happy to be proven wrong!

22/24 for 149 passing yards and 166 rushing yards the game plan was pretty simple don't throw it to the other team at back breaking times Jake. That's why we saw zero shot plays.
Solid effort and win all 3 phases but again having a QB who limits your playbook so much could be troublesome when you need big plays.
We played a very safe game and probably needed to after the massive turnover issues with Jake.

Best managed game of the year.
Maier emphasized ball protection. No risk whatsoever and it worked. I think that's the recipe for success for him, eventually will need to throw a pass more than 15 yards in a game but do this till it works.
Mills with great performance. Ran it down on Argos. He missed picking up one blitz but he was amazing in pass block too, saw him lay a block on all blitzes except one.
Quiet game for the receivers for the most part but they helped out in the blocking. Most noticeable was Michel in run blocks up the field. Obviously Lewis was a point of emphasis, he will eventually break one of these, signs are there.
OL's best game; Controlled the line, Bell with a great rebound game, hopefully they keep it going next week.
DL also with an outstanding game. Couple of perfectly timed hits on Kelly to bother him a little bit. Nothing from Ouellette, nothing from the PED suspender. Glad to see Adeymi-Berglund play well in place of Vaughters too.
Titus Wall looks a step behind this year, hopefully he improves. Judge with an int drop but otherwise played well and played the whole game. Awe, made the stop on Dukes on 3rd and 2 and no dirty plays, thank you.
Secondary's best game. This might the group, hopefully they can stay healthy. Nick Taylor is definitely a solid addition. Moxey's best game.
ST's were perfect, got a TD and kept Leake in check. Rene perfect again.
Argos were due for a stinker and with Kelly out they struggled but the Stamps usually allow unknown backups to run all over them but today they didn't. Have to build on this, play a safe game and learn when to take your shots. Want to see both double RB packages when Carey returns.

I don’t know if they mentioned it on the broadcast but it was pretty windy last night and I think it was a factor in terms of downfield passing. Less so with the strategy the Stampeders had; the Argos obviously had to throw it coming from behind (I recall one play where they had someone open deep on a corner route but the ball sailed long).
The weird thing is that it was blowing pretty good in one direction in the first half, and by the third quarter it completely changed directions. Not sure I’ve ever seen that.

I still can't believe Montreal change their uniforms. They had classic stylish great looking jerseys and they replaced them with mediocre bull#### horse ####

I misspoke. They threatened to deny their very existence unless they agreed not to use the Rough Riders, a name they used first.

No that’s also not true.
Ottawa was never going to use it. But if they tried, Sask had veto power over it.
The Manitoba public school system at work everyone.
