Yeah, the point is to try and mitigate double standards.

The women is clearly trying to be comedic. You can say it's vulgar or not funny but it's obviously light hearted. And with social media this would have blown over and people would be back to not even knowing who Wennberg is in a few days/weeks.

Assuming the "with" was a typo mean to be "without", yeah but that's not reality. There is social media. It does affect how people interact and react. If this woman shouted this on the street to Wennberg while he was with his wife it would certainly be harassment. Technically this is much more public. Part of calling this stuff out, even if it doesn't get to the level of criminal charges and stuff, is important to help people realize that behaving this way on social media is not okay, no different than in real life.

Look; what u see is a function of how u search tik tok and the cookies you leave from your browsing. If you are seeing troubling things, it’s not the platforms fault. They are functioning as intended by bringing you content you have told the internet you are interested in. Newsflash, that’s how all sites work, including this one.

And the alternative is, what... letting it go and teaching people to just suck it up when people post videos about how they want to violate/be violated by that individual, because "it's the internet"?

Negligence and indifference is how this stuff gets normalized.

I'd rather we not normalize being publicly disgusting, just because it's on virtual medium.

You can't police or enforce it no, but you can call it out for what it is. Which I would hope most people would feel obliged to do.

As someone who grew up in a Junior jockey town and heard all the stories of how these guys treated the girls in the city, it does blow my mind that 30 years later it's one of the players unhappy with how women are treating him. I acknowledge that within the large collective groups there are individual exceptions. But as a 17 year old hearing the goings on off the ice....the idea that a player would be upset with women not respecting him is something I could never believe.
