Ever wonder what it would be like if Kate Bush wrote a Silence of the Lambs musical? Julie Klausner's got you covered.

Hahaha. Well, I'm a fan of Kanye, the rapper, and loved him being pulled on stage, that's all...

Hey, hey, hey, this is the funny and cool picture/video thread, not the ironic picture/video thread. Take that #### somewhere else.

They may want to beef up their hiring practices.

I guess if standing there while a track plays constitutes "Still having it" then sure.
For people who were there, or even fans seeing it on line, sure, probably pretty cool to see him on stage.
But I think he lost it a long time ago.

That's actually pretty hilarious. It's possible it's an audio/video sync issue, but the mic is literally below his waist and the audio is coming through loudly and clearly without interruption.

Edit: At 0:10, he has the mic in the air while "signing" too....makes me think it is an audio/video sync issue for this particular twitter video. Even then, it sounds like the track is slowed down too, which also doesn't lend itself to Kanye still having it.

I have it on good authority that the best musicians aren't that technically skilled, but that's a hell of a lot of heart to come out a PA system without needing to sing into the mic.

Technical musical ability is only a means to an end. That being quality music.

Earworms do not require advanced musicianship (ex Nirvana) but Cobain was never going to cover Malmsteen, who could be classified as a musicians musician. Doesn't mean Yngwie can't write a catchy lick either, he's made plenty.

Personally I love when a musician can take a complicated groove, riff what have you and make it actually groove, such as odd times. Staying with grunge, Soundgarden or AiC for example.

Don't even get me started on polyrhythms.

Ah see I would have just posted a vid of Hilary Hahn playing... anything, and that would presumably have been the end of that.

One of the weird things I love to do when I travel to other countries is checking out their local McDonald's to see how different (and always better) their menus are from ours in Canada.

Same here. Probably the most interesting one for me was in Turkey. The meat patties were more like what you would get at donair place. It was really good. They also had croquettes and onion rings, as well as really fancy deserts. The thing that stood out even more than the food was how clean it was. Everything was shiny and no dirt anywhere. They had staff constantly cleaning the restaurant and even had a guy standing guard with a broom and dust pan who would walk up and immediately sweep up any fries that fall on the ground. There must have been 30 people working in the place.

Croatia's McDonald's was interesting as well because it had like 10 different salad options, many different chicken options (lemon chicken for one), and breakfast sandwiches with pork belly instead of bacon that we are used to. They also had croquettes and huge variety of dipping sauces.

I seem to recall seeing deep fried prawns at a McDonald's somewhere in Europe as well, Amsterdam maybe? I totally forget where it was.
