It's worth it though. If you want a deal the Dell S3422DWG is 499 tight now.

This one has incredible reviews too. I wonder if the other ones are worth the extra $1000.

And if you have a Rakuten account, they're offering 12% cashback on Dell purchases today.

I'm pretty sure I can explain away a $500 purchase on a whim. $1650 last minute purchase? Might be in the doghouse a good while for that one haha.

But might be worth it.

It really depends whether the games you play are going to benefit from what OLED offers. There are certain games that are completely breathtaking visually on those screens but for a lot of others it doesn't really make that big a difference.

"Hey Mrs CroFlames, I won a $1650 screen in a poker tournament with my buddies!"
"Cool! By the way, what's this $1650 charge on the credit card?"
"The buy-in for the poker tournament."

I ended up getting this one, and I used the Rakuten cashback. A tidy little deal. I'll put the extra money towards moar RGB and fans!

I'll use it with my current rig until I start building and collecting parts for my new one. The specs on my old one being so embarrassing I won't even list them.

For no real reason I put together a white ITX build in 20 minutes, which is what I would do if someone asked me what they should build for around 2K... Could probably do a bit better if I hunted but wanted to get something for comparison with Amazon prices in a week.

So I hooked this unit up to my existing pathetic gaming PC, and OH MY GOD. I started to lose my ####. This was my exact reaction:

Spoiler!

Then I watched this video in 21:9 and cried for the first time since Hector died in Troy.

Spoiler!

Can't wait to start building the new rig and unleash the full glory of this monitor.

I see the Dell S3422DWG on sale on Dells website for 350 US right now.
Not sure if you can get that in Canada though.

You could use a forwarding service like Shippsy and still end up ~150 hundred dollars ahead versus buying it at the Canadian price.

The Canadian site has a 20% off coupon, SAVE20.

So you still get a good deal.

I’m putting my money where my mouth is so I’m buying an AMD GPU for Starfield. Any reason not to get the MSI 7900xtx? I’ve had issues with their motherboards but no experience with graphics cards.
