Elon is a good example of where a guy should've just stayed in his lane - cars, rockets and advancing tech.
He would've done himself a world of favours if he was just one of those billionaires with a minimal online or social media presence who deferred to his marketing staff for that stuff.
He had to go stick his hands in the clay and now he doesn't know where or when to stop.

Naw. His lane is way more just taking credit for other people's work. Musk played no part in the actual design and invention process. He was a guy with a lot of money who said...let's build an electric car. He did a brilliant job of marketing himself and Tesla and paid (horribly underpaid by many accounts) people who knew what they were doing to create the vehicles.

tweet is now gone, replaced with 'POST' now that's some business genius level thinking, throwing away a term that everyone knows, is indelibly connected to your brand and separates it from all other social media only to replace it with a word that makes your site seem like little more than an generic email client

For all the dumb #### the man does with his businesses, people sure talk about him a lot. If you subscribe to the belief "any publicity is good publicity" he's killing it. I'm no fan of his, will never buy a tesla, never had Twitter, but he keeps people talking about him, for better or worse.
