Lando better get his butt in gear. Piastri is soon going to have choice of strategy.

I posted that before the contact. But Perez was already struggling before the contact.

That did not deserve a penalty.

Max has reached the point where he’s starting #### with his race engineer to keep himself busy and fight off the boredom.
Maybe the idea that he moves to AT for a few races after the WDC is wrapped up isn’t so far fetched after all.
He enjoys a challenge but the difficulty setting is stuck on beginner and I think he’s getting kind of annoyed by it.

If you are Red Bull, do you stop working on this year's car?

I've been to a sporting event in Sao Paolo. It was one of the wildest experiences. We wanted to go to a soccer game in S America, but the concierge at our hotel refused to even discuss it. Naturally, I found an English speaking bell hop (sort of, his English must have been from music videos because his accent could be best described as Portuguese mixed with rapper) to give us directions.
We arrived at the stadium and had to declare whether we were supporting the home team or visitors. I was confused why this mattered and the ticket clerk (whose English was comparable to my Portuguese, aka none) got frustrated and just sold us home team seats which was fine.
After the metal detectors and a thorough pat-down on the way in, we found our section. The fans shouted and waved flags the whole time, so the atmosphere was really neat.
The 8 foot high fence topped with razor wire at the edge of the home team section surprised me. Especially since the other side of that fence was an empty section with about a dozen riot cops (shield, batons, guns, body armour) then another fence with razor wire, then the visiting fans.
We had a great time but it was sort of surreal. The bell hop had strongly recommended we leave prior to the end, so we did, and the whole thing was uneventful. But it must be eventful sometimes...
F1 would probably be a richer version of that, the tickets were cheap and the fans didn't appear to be the same income bracket at the Monegasques.

Spa results are in! Congrats to CecilT who takes top spot this week, narrowly beating out Jepworth and FurnaceFace. All because Hamilton got fastest lap bonus point! All three picks got 4 slotted and 8/10.
No change in the top of the overall standings this week as DoubleK maintains a 14pt lead over bizaro86.
woob...this was your second missed picks. 3thirty it was your first miss.

I'd suggest 1-10 for spa and then 2-11 after summer break. But if anyone in the top 6 of our standings disagrees we should keep it 1-10. I'm only suggesting that as we did put $15 in for prizes and want to make sure everyone is ok with it.

So I didn't hear anyone disagree with moving to 2-11 picks. Basically removing Verstappen. I think you can still pick Ver if you don't think he'll win
So last chance for any Top 6 GM to disagree...
@Ryan Coke you'll need to change your pick or add an 11th.

So 2nd gets first place points without Verstappen as a selection? And 1 point for 11th? Or you pick a winner and get 1st place points so long as Verstappen isn't your first place pick?
I don't see how that works and poses an administrative nightmare.
