The kid is a future star in the league and bailed from University of Minn after committing to go there, it is an interesting turn of events.
Also, no - nobody cares about a 16th pick. Cooley could have (or should have) gone #1 in 2022.

Holy crap...it amazes me how offended you all get when it's not Flames news. You could just ignore the thread and then it will quickly disappear.
So many forum police that feel the need to bully posters who don't post what they like, it's getting ####ing ridiculous. We should embrace other teams fans coming to this board to discuss their teams, that means Calgarypuck will grow and get better. So many angry old men here that feel the need to yell at everything.
People need to relax and just learn that you don't need to comment on everything. No one cares what your post count is and how long you've been here.

One think I have always appreciated about this site is the acceptance of other fanbases. We don't want to sound like HF or something. We get close with the Oiler hate, but for the most part, at least in the past, the forum has been accepting of others, even with gentle ribbing.
Maybe this will help with the arena, Jordan!

We used to pride ourselves about all the NHL discussion we had and that we weren't just Flames only. I appreciate when news from around the league appears here, moreso now that it doesn't happen very much due to the negative nellies ridiculing people into only talking about the Flames
