Got a uniqueness rating of 31 - first time under 100! Knowing a bunch of goalies from the mid-90s to 2010 ish has been a pillar of my strategy haha.

Technicalities are the key to a low score. I tried to think of someone who played for the Whalers and Nordiques for Colorado-Carolina today -- but then I realized I don't know a lot of players from the Whalers or Nordiques.
Also, I find the under 3.00 GAA category is deceptively hard because a lot of goalies in the high-scoring 80s didn't have great GAAs even if they were top goalies, while most modern goalies have hit it many times even if they aren't particularly strong. For example, Grant Fuhr never had a GAA under 3.00 when he was with the Oilers.

Yeah the career backup types who move every couple of seasons are gold in this game.

Good Flames goaltending throwbacks, but completely stumped on Canucks-Flyers-Flames.

yeah that's a pesky one
at first I thought, oh easy Pat Quinn, but he actually only coached, didn't play for , the Flyers
if you combine the 2 Sutter twins you can get there
as an even more random aside, there is a Philadelphia-Vancouver-Calgary WHA connection as they were all the same Blazers/Cowboys franchise- so a few players, notably Danny Lawson pulled off that trifecta
edit- got one!

He's a poster here (or used to be at least)... https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/...ay.php?pid=572
Although, the user's name is spelled wrong, so I don't think it's really him.

How does the uniqueness score work? The higher the number the more obscure players, or the other way around?

Lower number is more unique
If you click on ‘how to play’ you will find this:
“Uniqueness is calculated from the sum of the percentages of each, plus 100 for every empty cell. The lower the score, the more rare each player pick was.”

Uniqueness 6- most of that from my Bruins/Leafs pick- should have done better there with an all original 6 pairing
