Heard Charles Adler today praising Trump’s election chances. Not Trump himself just the belief that Biden can’t beat Trump. I don’t know what news and campaign Adler is following.

The polls are crazy early but there isn't much of a lead for Biden.
Biden won 2020 by what 40,000 votes? Probably going to be that close again.

Not sure if you are being serious or not? Biden got 7 million more votes than Trump nationally and carried the electoral college 306 to 232.

Pretty sure he’s referring to the slim margin of votes in key swing states to secure the 270 electoral votes needed to win the Presidency.
Popular vote doesn’t mean much in selecting President.
That said I can’t fully remember the final numbers, but that it was tight in a number of swing states.

I imagine he's referring to the margin of victory of GA, WI, and AZ, which would have flipped the election.

Follow the money.
...also, in polls favourability doesn't mean 'In a general election I prefer Trump to Biden'. This was proven out in 2020.

I think the conservative/republican vote is always almost locked in. Canada or US or anywhere.
It's up to liberals/democrats since there are more of them. Are they excited about Biden? Will they come out to vote? Youth and minorities are known to not vote and that's the democratic majority.

He's right. Biden vs Trump is definitely not a lock for Biden. Republicans are as frothy and stupid as ever. I'd probably actually put my money on Trump if the election was tomorrow.

From Wikipedia,
States where the margin of victory was under 1% (37 electoral votes; all won by Biden):
Georgia, 0.23% (11,779 votes) – 16 electoral votes
Arizona, 0.31% (10,457 votes) – 11 electoral votes
Wisconsin, 0.63% (20,682 votes) – 10 electoral votes
Even if 2/3rds of them flipped to Trump, Biden would still have won. If all three flipped, then it would be a tie. A tie funny enough results in Congress electing a President, with each state getting one vote, while the Senate elects the Vice President. So you could end up with a Biden - Pense White House.

A 3rd party candidate on the ballot in those states could easily eat up those margins if they were stealing from Biden's votes.

Yeah the total margin for those 3 states was 44,000 votes which seems razor thin; doesn't seem like it would take much to fall the other way... 2016 was similar in that it was only 80,000 votes.
If states voted then the Republican would win as there's more R states afaik.

Trump's motion for a retrial and reduction of the $5M award in the sexual assault lawsuit is denied.
Trump was also complaining about Carroll using the the word "rape" since he wasn't found liable for rape in the convictions.. the judge didn't pull any punches:
"As is shown in the following notes, the definition of rape in the New York Penal Law is far narrower than the meaning of 'rape' in common modern parlance, its definition in some dictionaries, in some federal and state criminal statutes, and elsewhere. The finding that Ms Carroll failed to prove that she was 'raped' within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr Trump 'raped' her as many people commonly understand the word 'rape.' Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr Trump in fact did exactly that."

MTG was showing nude photos of Hunter Biden in a hearing about supposed Justice Department meddling in the plea deal Hunter made for charges on not paying his taxes to the Trump appointed prosecutor (which President Biden did NOT let go as is typical to avoid any appearance of favouritism).
Nudes that were stolen and used without consent because that's a perfectly fine thing to do I guess?
Dems fail; they should have been all over this.

And if that happened, I think it would destroy the United States as we know it (and that's not a good thing for Canadians). This situation is like our lifetime's moments before the Beer Hall Putsch kinda thing. Maybe not that dramatic, but ####'s going to get real if he wins again.
