Good work Pete. Someone needed to go out there and get tossed. Ump has been in clown mode all night and shouldn't have even been standing there. My god they're the most fragile people.

Chris Bassitt is a stand up dude. Wow. He's on pace to donate 200k. Even with making 21 million a year that's nothing to sneeze at.

I really hope Manoah can work through this, but he's not looking good right now. 4 walks, 80 pitches through 2 2/3 innings.

Something is better than nothing but this is a non-story for an athlete. Makes you appreciate a guy like Subban or Yashin donating much more while making much less.

Manoah really needs an out pitch. His fastball has never been elite so he needs his other pitches to be on point. A great slider will help his fastball.
Btw, the camera work during the game is pretty poor on the pop ups.

The control is concerning, but there’s a lot of bad luck for Manoah in this one too.
Two guys have reached that should have been struck out looking. Including the home run.
The last two runs were a double off of a crazy bounce of the bag, and a ball Springer lost in the lights.
A proper ump and a little bit of luck, Manoah has 3 scoreless innings, and about 25 less pitches right now.
