Haha.
They do need to figure out how to win vs AL east teams though. They'd be in 1st place with just a .500 record vs the AL east.

Man, Baltimore with 8 wins in a row and now only one game back of Tampa.
Crazy.

Team is playing very well right now and are cashing in runners in scoring position! You love to see it.

It will be nice if Chad Green can find his old form. Thats an arm that will bolster the bullpen if he's his old self. Upgrade on a guy like White for sure.

Jays bullpen is 4th in ERA and 3rd in WHIP. Pretty good!

One weird caveat to the sparkling bullpen stats is that they have also given up the 7th most home runs, however the Rays pen has given up 2 more than the Jays. Could be a product of being in the AL East, could also be the fact that Cimber, Bowden Francis and Zach Pop all were above 2 HR/9. Anyways! The Jays should definitely get Stroman!

Stroman is filled with potassium benzoate.

Imagine adding Chad Green to the already solid bullpen, if he is still the same Chad Green that is.
Plus maybe Kikuchi if the starters all stay healthy and Manoah is back to being Manoah.

Mlb.com has the probable starters for the upcoming San Diego series as Manoah, Berrios, Bassitt. Will Gausman go on the IL? Would suck to lose him for any amount of time but I guess better now than a month ago.

From what I’ve read they’re just skipping the two starts and hoping he will be ready for Seattle.

So where will Ryu fit into all of this? I don't think he's all that far away from being ready to go.

6 man rotation me thinks.

I expect that they’ll go with a 6 man rotation if Gausman comes back as quickly as Schneider indicates. Gausman didn’t do a side session on the weekend but did some throwing and exercise. I think he’ll be back in his spot after the next run through the rotation. Ryu, Bassitt, and Gausman all pitch markedly better on an extra day rest and it can’t hurt Manoah who has some question marks about his conditioning (and overuse last year) and is still figuring things out as well as Kikuchi who pitched in Japan with extra day(s) rest.
Ryu is likely 1-2 Buffalo starts away. They want him stretched to 85 pitches.

My guess, if they are all healthy, Yusei Kikuchi will go out of the starting rotation.

I've seen a couple of articles and social media posts saying this and to me it seems like a kneejerk reaction. Manoah comes back and has one good start, meanwhile Kikuchi has 2 bad innings (and they weren't catastrophically bad, only resulting in 2 runs) and all of a sudden he's the weak link in the rotation?
