So just keeping score:
- Maier is garbage
- Dickenson is garbage
- CFL is garbage
Did I miss anything?
What a day of football.

Maier sounds like a great leader and how thoughtful he is.
The arm strength is still questionable but if he can get guys the ball in the open field hopefully they can make big plays.

That was an entertaining day of football. Bombers lose, Riders lose, Stamps win. Perfect.

Bombers gifted them a pick 6 and a fumble in the final 3 minutes.

Man, that was so close to a loss for a game that could just as easily be a 50 pt blowout.

Best weekend of CFL football post-pandemic. You couldn't have scripted better finishes. Unfortunate what happened to Harris but I don't think it altered the outcome of the game as the Riders weren't getting much done on offense with him and it would have been a travesty had they won the game. Kilam really needs to clean up his coverage units as there have been way too many breakdowns. I've not coached but I always wonder if defensive coordinators instruct players to just knock the ball down on hail mary or 3rd and long situations. A DB can't be thinking about padding his stats in that situation. Better game by Maier and hopefully he can build off this as it was an important game in regards to not losing the season series to the Riders who are probably going to struggle without Harris.

Just to add on to this but I think a lot of the credit for that win goes to the D-Line what a dominant game reminded me of the 14-18 Stamps front 4.
When you can get pressure without blitzing it gives you so many options and. I was nervous that Vaughters lost a step but he looks like one of the most dominant linemen right now those 4 guys are going to play a huge role for us.
The receivers are starting to look dangerous as well. If Maier builds on that game we get some protection we could be in the race.
Overall a much better outlook for the Stamps and CFL as a whole if they build on the momentum from this week.

Watched the TSN highlights. Of the 3:30 clip, <30 seconds and 3 points of the 33 the Stamps got were shown, the other 3 mins saw 21 points for the losing team shown.
As far as the hail mary play, even if the one Stamp defender goes to knock it down instead of going for the catch, who knows what happens when he got nudged by his teammate in that situation.
In this situation that nudge causes the ball to pop up to the Sask reciever, it well could've done the same if the DB goes to bat it down. Just unlucky more than anything.
