Massive hail in the SW! Storm was hidden in the smoke so you couldn't see it approaching.

We never get it this bad here.

Honestly thought my windshield was gonna get knocked out.

At 8:20 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, nickel to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located over west Calgary and is moving toward the southeast at 25 km/h.

Large hail can damage property and cause injury.

Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

Nothing in the Elbow Dr / Glenmore. Was just out hiding away as many plants as I could, lots of thunder and lightning to the north of us.

In Roxboro, the Wife and I just ran out to throw blankets over the car parked out front, probably grape sized hail coming down. I'm sure the Stampede got smoked.

Absolutely nothing in Bonavista. Just a bit of wind. I think it just barely missed us. But we’ve got a wicked sunset here!
