The problem with the first wonder woman was that she was not the relatable hero people gravitated to. That went to Chris Pine who essentially stole that movie. Enough so they had to get him back in for the second film. And the problem with the second wonder woman film was that it was made. Complete rubbish. And hype does not make it a good movie. People saw it on the hype and word of mouth got around so people stopped going. It 100% would have flopped if released at any other time.

I wish they kept things for the theatre to be honest. I feel like if you know anything about Deadpool, you know he would be actually insisting on Wolverine wearing the yellow suit. It's probably part of the whole meta joke. So let me see it when I'm in the theatre, not some production still.
Now, they just need to bring back Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan and they can turn the Green Lantern Corps into the Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place reunion we've all been waiting for.

Remember when the director of the Mission Impossible movies pitched to WB a 2 part epic involving Green Lantern and Henry Cavill back as Superman and they passed
I have no faith in anything WB is doing at this point

Why not? Didnt they plunk down like $70M so Snyder could 'realize his vision?'
Throw down some more cash for an even crappier movie! Why not?
Have you seen the bones of that film? The only way you could improve that movie is to take all of the original reels and disks and whatever medium they are stored on, take them out to the studio parking lot....and light them on fire.
And then throw a grenade at that fire.
And then fend off the fire department to prevent them from putting it out.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
That movie is going to bomb so hard. DC can't even get people to come to the theaters for one of their top tier heroes with old school Batman involved, now they're going to pay money for some D-list hero that most people have never heard of?

I could see the gen-zs latching on to a D list guy.
It looks to appeal to that age group anyways .
Part of me is glad the superhero craze is dying out. It was getting out of hand. And these universes were biting off more than they could chew at the rate they were expanding.
The multiverse stuff is just too much, now with both studios diving into it. The only take on multiverses I'm interested in watching now is Deadpool's, because it will at least be fun and not a headache.
Multiverses also mean no one dies, because there's a copy of them elsewhere. That just kills any potential stakes you had.
And yes, spiderverse gets a pass.
