Pretty dumb of Galchenyuk to do something like this. Likely costed him to ever step foot in the NHL again, unless he is planning on playing in Europe and hoping to revitalize his career that way (doubtful).
I bet Arizona was the only team that went out of their way to reach our and offer an NHL contract to him. He did play some good hockey there when he was last in Arizona, but we're not going to find out now if he was ever going to replicate that.
