Uhhh, so tsn isn’t even play through commercials?
Edit- so tsn5 has the sidescreen, while tsn1 was a full cut away.

Three Brits in the top 5, well done! Fun race. Well done for Albon holding off Leclerc at the end. Good for him.

Instead of replacing Checo, they should replace Max. Without him this is a wild season with no end in sight and no clear favourite.
Sloppy from Stroll. Albon continues to impress.

How fun would it be if McLaren closed the gap and we now have 4 teams competing behind RB?

Commercials shouldn't even be a thing in the last 10 laps.

I have F1TV, but even it is prone to bad choices like doing a review of the start when there's exciting battles going on in race. Or the endless crowd shots, celebrity shots, etc. Like who the hell cares if Tom Cruise is sitting Toto Wolff. Or Shakira is talking to some other guy and clearly not even watching the race.

Unfortunately some people care about stuff like that. Then they can spread it on their socials because vapidity is all they know. Those people are bad people and should feel bad.

Nick de Vries is out at Alpha Tauri and the Return of the Honey Badger!!
De Vries must not bring in anything close what Tsunoda does. While Tsunoda has been markedly better this year he was terrible last year. Or maybe this is to squeeze Checo since he's been awful as well.

Niiiice! Tsunoda hasn't impressed me at all, and any time he is on the radio he's complaining about stuff, much of it fantasy. Too bad, I was cheering for him first season. If Danny shows up and absolutely stomps him, he'll be gone soon too.

Interesting. I think this is a great story and will make the 2nd half of the season more interesting. Danny R probably puts up more points as well, so it's probably a good choice.
But I can't help but wonder whether Red Bull would be better served with a bit more patience with their young drivers. I think it's very likely that either Albon or Gasly would be doing better than Perez this year.

de Vries isn't young. He is 28 years old. He has won F2 and Formula E titles. He just sucks at F1.

Albon has done a nice job lately in the Williams. I do agree that I don't see the point of having a lower team if you're going to use it to give a seat to a guy like Riccardo. But as you note Perez has not been very good the past 6 races. So this is likely an audition to see if Riccardo could be more consistent and be closer to Verstappen and replace Perez.

Agree. I think this is probably the right move now, and it amps up the drama considerably so that's fun. But I think it might have made sense to give Albon or Gasly a bit more rope in the past.

I’m convinced they’ve already decided that Checo is out at RB.

This isn’t an audition for Danny Ric, I think it’s a warm up. So long as he doesn’t fail miserably, I think the RB seat is his after break.

I'm inclined to agree. Give him 2 races to get back to F1 then come Dutch GP its Max and Danny Ric at RB.
