I think Iga will win, but Martic is no slouch and I could see it going three sets.

Shapo just broke to get back on serve in set 3 serving at 4-5
Edit: Consolidation successful
Edit 2: Followed up by a break to go up 6-5. Denis has won the last four games.

Make it five straight games for Denis as he takes set 3 7-5. Serving gremlins disappeared late in set 3, but as we all know they can come back at any time.

Shapo just tagged a linesperson with a serve (purely accidental). She's fine, took it like a champ lol

Iga takes the opening set 6-2 in just over 40 minutes. Doing her best to avoid the curfew coming into play.

Shapo breaks and is serving for a spot in the 4th round at 6-5 in set 4.
Edit: woot!! Denis is into round 4!! Excellent play from Shapo especially the last set and a half.

Not a good day for the Brits as Christopher Eubanks took out Cam Norrie earlier today. Katie Boulter is still alive in the women's singles.

Iga wins 6-2 7-5 but Martic really pushed her in that second set. Novak and Stan will have about 2 hours and 30 minutes before the 11 pm curfew.

Do you ever find it weird that Switzerland only won one Davis Cup despite having Fed and Stan at the same time

They would skip often in the old format. If they had the current format 15 years ago they would have been dominant.

Iga had to struggle through a lot of rough play today, her topspin cross-court forehand in particular had a lot of trouble with deep balls. Looked downright wild at times. Gutted it out, though, so that's nice to see.
I see Denis is through. Do I watch a Denis match? Do I wait for QFs? Am I just setting myself up to be frustrated?

I don't know if Novak has ever played better at Wimbledon than today. That's a scary thought for everyone else

At some point, you're going to get frustrated with Denis, but you might want to wait until the QF's because he's on a collision course with Jannik Sinner and if that is indeed the matchup, it should be an entertaining match to watch.

Novak is the puppet master today and is pulling all of Stan's strings.

Stan showing his true champion mentality upping his game in set 3. Even if he goes out in straight sets, pretty good stuff from Stan late.

Stan completely fell apart when serving 5-4 in that breaker. Novak played two insane sets, he was un playable
