Beginning to worry Lindholm will walk for nothing. We've seen this movie before...
I am confident that won't happen. The market is very soft right now for trades and extensions are hard to do because it is hard to project value with the cap rising as much as it will in the next 5 years. I think the Flames are very comfortable with playing the slow play game with most of their upcoming UFA's. Right now you are getting pennies on the dollar, worst case scenario if you wait is you still get pennies on the dollar.

If you have info you would like to share then say it instead of these stupid cryptic gifs and riddles. If you would rather not share then don't. Either way if something comes to fruition we will all come to know one way or another.
From what I remember reading no one has verified who Sec214 is or who his sources are so he could just be taking all of us on a ride posting a gif every 2-3 days with no relevant info. It's getting tiresome.
What if he’s Conroy and he doesn’t want to show his hand but keep the fans engaged

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Sounds more to me that he may consider staying a Flame if they over compensate him but otherwise he and his agent are likely stringing the Flames along as the best outcome for him is to play out his final season as a Flames and choose his next destination via free agency.
Yeah, I doubt this has anything to do with the city, the team, or the roster. Lindholm wants a big payday, and if he doesn’t think he’ll get the biggest payday from the Flames, he’ll look elsewhere. The Flames have tabled an offer, he wants them to go higher, and he’s waiting them out. He has all the leverage and he’s using it.

I don't really care for the gifs so not a big deal to me but I can understand people who get excited over them get annoyed. Like bigpete said, what's the point teasing if nothing comes out of it in the end. Just seems like a lot of "misinformation".

Lindholm has no trade protection on his contract, and would fetch a kings ransom at the deadline, probably a mid first + + given his contract value and position.
The only way this is possibly happening is if the Flames a firmly in a playoff race come January, and that point in time, I think we would be occupying a very different place in the hockey world than we currently assume we are occupying.
